A leading infrastructure investor, developer and asset manager is seeking an Associate to join its Corporate Development & Strategy team in Melbourne.
The role will work closely with senior leadership to support the continued growth of the business, with exposure across M&A;, strategic investments, corporate strategy, project finance and the assessment of new markets and sectors across infrastructure and energy transition.
Key Responsibilities
Support the assessment and execution of acquisitions, strategic investments and partnerships
Develop financial models, valuations and investment analysis to assess opportunities, returns and risks
Contribute to corporate strategy, market assessments and the identification of new growth opportunities
Support due diligence, transaction structuring and negotiations alongside internal teams and external advisers
Assist with financing strategies, capital structuring and the evaluation of infrastructure project economics




Analyse infrastructure and energy transition markets, emerging investment themes and competitive dynamics
Work closely with investment, development, finance and asset management teams, lenders and transaction counterparties
Ideal Candidate Profile
Approximately 3-6 years' experience in investment banking, project finance, infrastructure investing, corporate development or transaction advisory
Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities
Experience across infrastructure, energy, renewables or other capital-intensive sectors will be highly regarded
Solid understanding of M&A;, investment analysis, financial structuring and transaction execution
Strong commercial judgement and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders
