**We're looking for multiple **Mechanical Fitters** to join our high performing **Modernisation** team in **Melbourne, Victoria.
**No two days are the same as you manage the equipment installation of KONE's elevator products, across low-rise housing through to the world's tallest skyscrapers.
**What will you be doing?
*** Completing the full installation of current elevators, escalators and auto walks from commencement to commissioning.




* Manages the equipment installation environment during installation activities* Manages on-site communication with the customer for day-to-day installation and logistical activities* Responsible for reporting installation progress to the installation supervisor* Carrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards* Carries out the installation according to pre-determined method instruction and schedule**What are we looking for?
*** 2+ years mechanical experience - lift industry experience preferred* Certificate 3 in mechanical fitting/fabrication engineering desired* Trade tickets desired - dogging, advanced rigging* Motivated and self- starter who can manage workload and competing priorities* Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality* A customer service mindset* Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team**There's so much more to KONE than you may realise.
