Talent Focus is partnering with an industry-leading engineering company based in Archerfield, specialising in the repair, overhaul and manufacture of gearboxes for a diverse range of industries, including heavy vehicles, transport and mining equipment.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced
Storeperson
to join their team in a permanent capacity.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong warehousing skills and mechanical aptitude to secure a long-term career with a highly respected organisation.
The position offers a varied workload combining warehouse operations with hands‐on workshop duties, along with excellent training, career development and an attractive remuneration package.
Key Responsibilities
Forklift operation, including loading and unloading trucks
Receiving, checking and dispatching goods
Inventory management and stock control
Processing incoming goods and receipting stock using computer systems
Maintaining accurate inventory records
Assisting tradespeople with general workshop duties
Crane operation where qualified and authorised
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
General warehouse and workshop duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
Current LF Forklift Licence
Previous experience in stores, warehousing or inventory control




Experience with receiving & dispatch and goods receipting
Good computer literacy and experience using inventory systems
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Mechanical aptitude and confidence working in an engineering/workshop environment
Crane operation experience (dogging qualification highly regarded)
A proactive attitude and willingness to assist across different areas
A strong commitment to workplace safety
Reliability, punctuality and a positive work ethic
