Due to continuous growth Wagners Construction Materials Laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Technician or Trainee Laboratory Technician looking for a career opportunity. This full time role is based at the Rocklea Laboratory and servicing the Southwest Metro area.
What you'll be doing
Perform concrete and aggregates sampling
Perform testing in accordance with Australian Standards and Legislation
Organise daily field testing
Compile and dispatch records
Maintain accurate data of records for samples and test results
Ensure compliance with project guidelines sampling products and testing/calibrations
Develop opportunities for improvement and non-conformance reporting requirements
What you'll bring
Current Manual Driver Licence (essential)
Strong communication skills to interact productively with management, customers and team members
Dedication to safety and quality
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
Successful candidates must be able to obtain satisfactory pre-employment checks including employment reference checks, a pre-employment medical and a police check.
