Grounds Person / Gardener – Retirement Village |Full Time
Bluegum Lifestyle Resort is seeking a reliable Grounds Person / Gardener to join our team at a retirement village on a full time basis.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining protected and well‐presented gardens and outdoor areas and enjoys working in a community environment.
Key duties will include:
Mowing, edging and general lawn care
Gardening, weeding, pruning and trimming
Maintaining garden beds and landscaped areas
Blowing and cleaning paths and outdoor areas
Green waste removal and general grounds tidiness
Helping keep the village grounds safe, tidy and welcoming for our residents
We are looking for someone who:
Has gardening,



groundskeeping or landscaping experience. This is highly regarded but not essential
Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team
Has the ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers)
Has physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Is friendly, respectful and comfortable interacting with older residents
Understands the importance of workplace safety
Has a current driver licence and reliable transport.
