What You'll Do In this role, you'll work closely with doctors,



nurses and multidisciplinary teams to optimise medication management and support positive patient outcomes.
You'll gain exposure to a diverse range of clinical specialties while developing practical hospital pharmacy skills in a supportive environment.
Occasionally, you may be required to work at Slade Pharmacy Kempsey, located within Kempsey District Hospital, approximately a 42-minute drive from Port Macquarie Base Hospital.
Key responsibilities include: Conducting medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation Dispensing and supplying medication and pharmacy products Coordinating patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge Developing and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients Supporting patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees Educating and advising staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the quality use of medicines What You'll Bring We're looking for pharmacists who thrive in a collaborative clinical environment and bring solid communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine patient-centred approach to care.

Experience in oncology is highly regarded, but not essential.
