A well-established national organisation with a strong reputation is seeking an HR Operations Manager to lead its centralised HR Operations function. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys balancing team leadership and process improvement with hands‐on operational HR.

About the Role
You'll lead a small team and oversee the delivery of accurate, effective and compliant HR operations across a geographically dispersed workforce.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead, coach and develop an established HR Services team, driving accountability, engagement and high performance.
Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including employment contracts, onboarding, employee changes and offboarding.
Drive operational excellence, ensuring service delivery meets agreed timeframes, quality standards and business expectations.
Own HR systems and processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiencies and enhance the employee experience.
Maintain compliance, overseeing award interpretation, employment documentation,



reporting and HR governance.
Partner with stakeholders across the business, providing practical solutions and building robust working relationships.
Manage HR reporting, including workforce data, compliance reporting and WGEA requirements.
About You
We're looking for a confident, capable HR Operations Manager who combines strong technical knowledge with a genuine passion for people leadership and continuous improvement.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Solid experience in HR Services, HR Operations or a similar team leadership role.
Demonstrated experience leading an HR administration or shared services team within a complex, high-volume setting.
Strong knowledge of employment contracts, Modern Awards, HR compliance and employee lifecycle processes.
Confidence working with HRIS platforms, reporting and data, including strong Excel skills.
A track record of improving processes, driving efficiencies and maintaining high service standards.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
Most importantly, you're someone who takes ownership, leads by example and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves. You're organised, solutions-focused and know how to bring out the best in your team while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
