We are looking for a Junior Payroll Officer to join our team in our modern North Sydney offices close to the train and new metro station.
As a Junior Payroll officer, you will, after full training, play a crucial role in managing payroll operations across diverse industries, such as manufacturing, distribution, and professional services.
Your duties will include:
Assisting with payroll processing
Setting up new employees and terminations
Assisting with month-end reporting
Managing timesheet reports and attendance records
Learning and interpreting award agreements
The following Attributes are particularly sought.
Formal tertiary qualifications in Accounting or similar
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
A strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and take responsibility
A high level of numerical reasoning
Excellent attention to detail
Previous exposure to up-to-date Payroll systems would be desirable
A willingness to learn is essential
