Our client is a growing international digital learning business supporting the higher education and research sectors, and they're looking for a commercially driven Sales Account Executive to grow their presence across the ANZ market. Ideally based in Sydney, or alternatively Brisbane, this role will involve regular travel across the region to meet customers, develop new business and attend industry events.
The Role
You'll take ownership of new business activity across your territory, developing a strong pipeline through targeted outreach, calls, meetings and networking. You'll present digital products to academics, researchers and university professionals, identify customer needs and confidently progress opportunities through the full sales cycle.
Alongside your individual sales activity, you'll use market and pipeline insights to prioritise opportunities, collaborate with colleagues on commercial campaigns and represent the business at relevant events and trade shows.
About you
You'll be a proactive and ambitious salesperson who enjoys winning new business, building relationships and taking ownership of your territory. Commercially minded and motivated by results, you'll be confident approaching prospective customers,



delivering engaging product presentations and turning opportunities into sales. Experience within EdTech, academic or STEM publishing, SaaS, research solutions or a related market would be particularly valuable.
Must haves:
Experience in sales or business development within EdTech, STM Publishing or SaaS
Experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to close
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Confidence engaging with customers both virtually and face-to-face
Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
Willingness to travel regularly within the ANZ region
