Job Description
About the role
Due to our continued and rapid growth in the Australian market, Securitas has an exciting position available for a Full time Security Officer to join our business and work for a very well-known global client in VIC.
The Security Officer must be able to deliver an exceptional level of security and customer service.



Those with a strong customer service background coupled with a Security License are encouraged to apply. We have both Full Time and Part time opportunities available for this role.
Shift Timing: Day and Night Shift- 6AM -6PM OR 6PM to 6AM based on operational requirements.
Pay rate: SSIA Level 4
Key Tasks
Provide security services in line with site SOPs and customer requirements to protect people, property and assets.
Greet visitors and contractors professionally, verify appointments, issue visitor badges and maintain accurate records.
Operate the client's Visitor Management System and manage calls, emails and general enquiries.
Manage access badges, keys and access approvals, ensuring site rules and screening procedures are followed.
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled patrols and security spot checks.
Monitor CCTV and relevant access-control, intrusion and fire systems, reporting and escalating security concerns.
Respond to incidents and emergencies in line with site procedures.
Complete accurate incident reports, security records and shift handovers.
Desired Skills and Experience
Must have a valid Security Licence.
