Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer - Tier 2 Builder Landmark $200M+ Residential Development | Sydney Inner Suburbs | Strong Project Pipeline
An opportunity has opened up for an experienced Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to join a well-established Tier 2 builder delivering a major residential and mixed-use development in Sydney's inner suburbs. With 400+ apartments and a substantial structure and finishes scope, this is an opportunity to take ownership of key packages on a large-scale project while working alongside an experienced delivery team. The builder has a strong pipeline of secured projects across Sydney, offering long-term stability and genuine career progression.
You'll be joining an established project team with the resources and support to deliver a technically challenging build.
Your Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate key construction packages across structures and finishes.
Oversee design coordination, RFIs, technical queries and documentation.
Work closely with the Project Manager and site team to maintain programme milestones.
Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and key project stakeholders.
Assist with procurement, cost management, variations and forecasting.
Ensure works are delivered to programme,



quality and safety requirements.
Identify and resolve technical and construction challenges throughout delivery.
What We're Looking For
5+ years' experience with a Tier 1, 2 or 3 head contractor.
Proven experience delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use projects, ideally $100M+.
Strong technical understanding of structures and/or finishes.
Experience managing subcontractors, design coordination and construction packages.
Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Commercially aware, organised and confident working within a fast-paced project environment.
