Office Administrator / Receptionist - Funeral Home
Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time | Central Coast NSW
No Funeral Industry experience necessary – just a friendly personality, good people skills and a willingness to learn!
We are a well-established, locally owned funeral home on the Central Coast, looking for a friendly, reliable and compassionate person to join our small team.
This is a general office administration and reception role, and
no previous funeral industry experience or formal qualifications are required.
We are more interested in finding the right person with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a genuine ability to make people feel comfortable and welcome.
About the Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Answering phone calls in a friendly and professional manner
Greeting and assisting families and visitors
General computer work, emails and data entry
Preparing basic documents and paperwork
Filing, record keeping and general office organisation
Assisting other team members with everyday administrative tasks
Helping ensure the office runs smoothly




About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has a warm, friendly and approachable personality
Has an excellent telephone manner
Is confident using a computer and basic office programs
Enjoys working with people and providing good customer service
Is reliable, organised and willing to learn
Can communicate with sensitivity, patience and understanding
Works well as part of a small, supportive team
Previous office or reception experience would be welcome but is certainly not essential.
Full training will be provided.
