The Opportunity:
We are looking for a
Senior Insolvency Accountant
to join the Melbourne CBD team. This is an excellent prospect for an experienced insolvency professional to work across a broad range of corporate insolvency appointments, take ownership of engagements and work closely with experienced senior practitioners.
You will be involved in:
Managing and progressing a variety of corporate insolvency appointments
Working across CVLs, VAs, receiverships, liquidations, SBRs and other restructuring engagements
Conducting investigations into company affairs, assets and financial records
Preparing reports to creditors, statutory documentation and other appointment‐related deliverables
Liaising with directors, creditors, solicitors and other key stakeholders
Assisting with asset realisations, recoveries and the progression of complex matters




Supporting junior team members and contributing to the successful delivery of engagements
About You:
2+ years' experience
in insolvency and restructuring
Exposure to a range of corporate insolvency appointments
Strong technical knowledge of insolvency processes and relevant legislation
Excellent communication, organisational and problem‐solving skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of your work
A proactive approach and a genuine interest in continuing to develop your insolvency career
CA/CPA studies completed or in progress will be highly regarded
