Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking and priming
Apply paint finishes to buses, coaches and vehicle components
Perform touch-ups, repairs and refinishing work
Maintain painting equipment and keep the work area clean and organised
Work closely with panel beaters, mechanics and the wider workshop team




Assist with bus refurbishment, repair and after-sales maintenance projects
Your Profile
Previous experience as a
Spray Painter
, ideally working on buses, coaches, heavy vehicles, trucks or commercial vehicle repairs
Trade qualification in Automotive Refinishing, Spray Painting or similar
Strong knowledge of paint preparation, masking, priming and finishing techniques
Experience carrying out repairs, touch-ups and full resprays on large vehicles
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team
This position also requires the applicant to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol analysis, musculoskeletal evaluation and hearing test
