What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of menu items to consistent quality standards
Operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace
Portioning and plating dishes according to specifications and presentation standards
Following recipes and cooking techniques whilst maintaining food safety and hygiene protocols
Managing prep work and ingredient organisation to ensure efficient service
Assisting with food ordering and stock rotation to minimise waste
Responding to customer requirements and dietary needs with professionalism and care
Supporting the team during busy service periods and contributing to a positive workplace culture
What we're looking for
Proven experience working as a Cook in a hospitality or cafe environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards




Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining food quality
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food hygiene and sanitation
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to manage a part-time schedule
A passion for food and delivering excellent customer experiences
Desirable: Experience in cafe or ice creamery settings, and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
