Senior Software Engineer

● Design, build and operate scalable, resilient and secure software solutions that

support Asset Based Lending, Supply Chain and structured trade finance products.
n
● Bring solid software engineering and system design skills, with experience
n
delivering cloud-native, distributed or event-driven solutions.
n
● Demonstrate end-to-end ownership across the SDLC, including solution design,
n
development, testing, CI/CD, observability, cloud infrastructure and production
n
support.
n
● Solve complex technical and business problems pragmatically while maintaining
n
strong risk, control, security and data quality outcomes.
n
● Contribute to technical direction through effective collaboration, thoughtful design
n
decisions, code reviews, mentoring and engineering best practices.
n
● Promote engineering excellence through automation, AI-assisted development,
n
DevSecOps, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
n
Tech Skills
n
We use a broad range of technologies, tools, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know

them all,



but experience in several of the following areas will help you succeed in this role:
n
● Must have:
n
o Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, design
n
patterns, clean code practices, and automated testing.
n
o Proven hands-on development experience in Python, building scalable and
n
maintainable production systems.
n
o Experience designing and delivering cloud-native, distributed or event-driven
n
systems and contributing to technical design decisions.
n
o Experience building or integrating APIs, data pipelines, workflow automation
n
and data-intensive applications.
n
o Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and engineering automation, with
n
experience using tools such as GitHub Actions or similar.
n
o Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
n
o Knowledge of observability practices, including monitoring, logging, alerting,
n
and production support.
n
o Understanding of secure software development practices and DevSecOps
n
principles.
n
● Nice to have:
n
o Experience or knowledge of banking, lending, working capital, trade finance,
n
commodities or financial markets will be highly regarded.
