We are seeking a motivated and reliable Metal Fabrication & Engineering Apprentice
(Fitter Machinist)
to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long‐term career in the engineering and manufacturing industry. You will receive hands‐on training while working alongside experienced tradespeople, learning the skills required to become a qualified Metal Fabricator.
What You'll Learn
As an apprentice, you will gain practical experience in:
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
Operating fabrication equipment and hand tools safely.
Using machinery such as guillotines, press brakes, drills, and grinders.
Performing quality checks to ensure work meets required standards.
Following workplace health and safety procedures.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has a genuine interest in engineering and metal fabrication.
Is reliable, punctual,
and eager to learn.
Has good mechanical aptitude and problem‐solving skills.
Enjoys hands‐on work and takes pride in producing quality workmanship.
Can work well both independently and as part of a team.
Has strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Holds a current driver's licence (preferred but not essential).
Has completed Year 10 or above (preferred).
