Program Test Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced
Program Test Manager
to lead the testing strategy, governance, and delivery across a large-scale transformation program. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep expertise in test management, quality assurance, and automation, capable of establishing robust testing frameworks and driving quality outcomes across complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end test function across multiple project streams, ensuring alignment with program objectives and delivery milestones.
Provide hands-on leadership in the implementation, optimisation, or uplift of test management and automation tools, driving best-practice testing processes and efficiencies.
Establish and maintain strong test governance, including defect management, requirements traceability, risk management, release assurance, and executive reporting.
Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors, and program leadership to ensure quality objectives are achieved and risks are proactively managed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across testing practices, automation frameworks, and quality management processes.
Required Experience
Proven experience as a
Program Test Manager
or Senior Test Manager within large and complex technology transformation programs.
Robust experience with
Application Quality Management (AQM)
practices and enterprise testing methodologies.
Demonstrated expertise with
ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)




and test management platforms.
Extensive experience implementing and managing
test automation frameworks
, including hands-on exposure to
Playwright
.
Strong understanding of test governance, quality assurance frameworks, defect lifecycle management, traceability, and release readiness.
Experience managing distributed testing teams, vendors, and multiple stakeholders within enterprise environments.
Desirable Experience
Previous experience within
utilities, electricity, energy, or billing environments
.
Exposure to large-scale digital transformation, customer platforms, billing systems, or operational technology programs.
Experience delivering quality outcomes within Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
