We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parcel Locker Site Surveyor to join our growing field team. You will visit proposed installation locations, assess site suitability, identify any constraints, and collect the information required for successful installation planning. Your assessments will help ensure projects are prepared correctly before deployment, enabling installation teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high quality outcomes.
No previous parcel locker survey experience is required. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out a daily batch of site surveys on a route planned by the Operations Manager.
Assess whether each proposed location is suitable for a locker install.
Measure the available space and confirm the size of locker the site can take.
Assess the ground surface, levels and condition, and note any groundworks needed.
Check vehicle access and unloading space for the delivery lorry, including any need for lifting equipment.




Locate the power supply and estimate the cable route and distance to the locker position.
Check mobile signal strength at the proposed position.
Assess shading and sunlight for solar-powered lockers.
Identify hazards, access restrictions, opening hours and any site rules the install team must follow.
Take clear, complete photos and complete the digital survey form accurately on the day.
Liaise with site managers, landlords and staff, and agree the locker position where needed.
Report unsuitable sites promptly, with a explicit reason and any alternative position.
Report any delays, access problems or missed surveys to the Operations Manager on the day.
Follow company health and safety procedures, method statements and PPE requirements at all times.
Look after the company van and survey equipment, reporting any defects promptly.
