The ideal candidate:
Tertiary qualified and accredited to teach in NSW.
Prepared to support the ethos of a Sacred Heart education and be an active and visible participant in the dynamic life of our school.
Strong understanding of your subject/s areas and are a lifelong learner. Proficiency in teaching Spanish and/or Italian as well is highly advantageous.
Commitment to plan and deliver each lesson to the best of your ability, ensuring that you are implementing effective teaching and learning strategies to keep each student engaged.
Ability to create and maintain an effective learning environment, where you believe in the importance of and are committed to facilitating both the personal and academic growth of our students.
Demonstrated ability to differentiate assessment practices, use data, and provide constructive feedback, so that all students have individualised learning experiences, challenges, and growth.
Robust demonstrated competency in building effective working relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
