Genius People is working with leading advisory firms in Melbourne to recruit Insolvency Supervisors.
These opportunities suit established Supervisors and experienced Senior Analysts who are already taking responsibility for files and reviewing the work of junior colleagues.
At this level, the structure of the team matters. We will discuss where the Supervisor sits, the appointments they handle, the support available from Managers and Partners, and what the firm expects before progression to Manager.
The role
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating the day to day delivery of corporate insolvency appointments.
Overseeing investigations, financial analysis, creditor reporting and statutory requirements.
Allocating work and reviewing the output of Analysts and junior team members.
Monitoring budgets, deadlines and outstanding matters across files.
Managing communication with directors, creditors and professional advisers.




Identifying issues requiring Manager or Partner input and supporting their resolution.
Assisting with trading appointments and related reporting where relevant.
Your background
You will have a solid corporate insolvency background within an accounting or advisory firm and experience taking ownership of substantial parts of an appointment.
You should be able to demonstrate technical judgement, clear report writing and the ability to organise and review others' work. If you are seeking your first Supervisor title, we will explore the supervisory responsibilities you already carry.
CA, CPA or ARITA qualifications and study progress will be considered against the requirements of each opportunity.
