An established stonemason and cladding specialist in Melbourne's western suburbs, delivering premium stone and tile across residential and commercial projects — benchtops, vanities, feature walls, cladding and outdoor stonework in marble, granite, quartz and sintered stone. Traditionalists at heart who treat stonework as a craft, with a strong reputation for finish quality and a steady pipeline of work — a place where skilled tradespeople and site leaders are genuinely valued.
The Job
An established Melbourne stonemason and cladding specialist in the western suburbs is looking for an experienced Site Foreman to lead in office stone and tile installations across residential and commercial projects.
You'll run the job on site — coordinating installers and trades, setting the standard for finish quality, and making sure every project is delivered on time, safe and defect-free. This is a role for someone who has come up through the tools in stone or tile and is ready to take charge of the site.
What you'll be doing:

Lead and coordinate install crews and subcontract trades on site
Set out and supervise stone benchtop, cladding and tile installations
Own quality control — check finishes, manage defects and handovers
Read plans and drawings, set out work and confirm site measures
Keep sites safe, tidy and compliant (SWMS, White Card)
Liaise with builders, clients and the fabrication workshop
Keep projects on schedule and report progress to management
This is a senior on-site role with a respected, quality-driven business that treats stonework as a craft. Strong package for the right leader, plus steady, ongoing project work across Melbourne.
What you'll need
Proven experience as a foreman or leading hand in stone or tile
Strong knowledge of benchtop, cladding and/or tile installation
Able to read plans, set out work and run site measures
Confident leading crews and coordinating trades on site
Sharp eye for finish quality, defects and handovers
