Position Overview:




The Radiographer at WiSE Medical plays a critical role in our healthcare team, responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position requires a skilled and experienced skilled who is proficient in operating advanced radiographic equipment and can work effectively in high-pressure environments such as emergency rooms and operating rooms.
This role requires a valid Blue Card, as well as evidence of immunity to the specific diseases outlined under the QLD Health vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) mandatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including general X-RAY, Computed Tomography (including angiograms, orthopaedic protocols), Interventional
Work independently and be able to collaborate within a wider multidisciplinary team,
Adhere to ALARA principles and ensure safe health care measures are in place,
Ensure patient centered care, open communication and accountability
Commitment to ongoing training and education
Qualifications:
Academic Degree:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent.
Certification:
Registered Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiographer.
Experience working in diverse clinical settings, including wards, ER, and operating rooms is highly regarded.
Proficiency in operating CT and X-ray equipment. Up-to-date knowledge of radiography technology and best practices.

High level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle stressful situations and work under pressure in a high-paced environment.
Proficient in medical terminology and capable of taking initiative in various clinical scenarios.
