Cocoon Early Learning Centre is a boutique, family-owned and family-run centre in the heart of Kareela Village in the Sutherland Shire. A warm, homely community centre where individually themed rooms, familiar faces and play-based learning help children thrive. Auslan and an artist in residence, technology usually only seen in big schools, and age-specific outdoor spaces to run, climb and discover — all here from the early years.

About the Role
You'll work alongside our room leaders across four rooms — Koalas (6 months–2 years), Possums (2–3), Joeys (3–4) and Kangaroos (4–5).



Your day will include:
Supporting meals, sleep times, hygiene and personal care
Helping plan and deliver play-based experiences including reading, games and outdoor play
Following health, safety and child protection procedures
Observing and documenting children's learning and development
Building warm, professional relationships with families
What You'll Need
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Valid NSW Working with Children Check
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
Child Protection / Child Safety training certificate
A warm, reliable and team-focused approach with a genuine love of working with young children
We are also open to employing trainees who are currently studying their Diploma or Cert 111 in Early Childhood Care
