We're currently looking for a confident, customer-focused
Sales Representative t
to join a well-established business in the building and steel industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in hardware, trade retail, tools or customer service who is ready to step away from the shop floor and build a career in B2B and road-based sales.
You'll work across a combination of branch-based and customer-facing activity, with the majority of your time spent building relationships and meeting customers on the road.
About the Role
As a Sales Representative, You'll be responsible for developing strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities and providing excellent service to a range of commercial clients.
Your day will involve:
Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
Visiting customers and potential clients across Sydney
Identifying sales opportunities and growing existing accounts
Providing excellent customer service and product advice
Developing knowledge of the company's product range
Working collaboratively with internal teams




Managing your day independently while remaining focused on sales and customer outcomes
The role is Monday-Friday, with an
8-hour working day
and a typical start time of
7:30am or 8:00am
.
What We're Looking For
You don't necessarily need previous road-sales experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, personality and customer-facing experience who is ready to take the next step.
You could be a great fit if you're currently working as a:
Hardware or Trade Retail Salesperson
Tools or Trade Salesperson
Experience within hardware, tools, trade retail or similar customer-facing environments will be highly regarded.
Most importantly, you'll be:
Confident and personable when dealing with customers
A strong relationship builder
Sales and customer-service focused
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Commercially minded with a genuine interest in sales
Willing to learn current products and industry knowledge
Comfortable travelling between customer locations
Looking for genuine career progression into B2B sales
