As a Registered Nurse in our Acute Aged Care ward at Wollongong Hospital, you'll join a welcoming and inclusive team dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to older people experiencing acute health needs. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team on our 29-bed ward, you'll support patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey while providing safe, evidence-based nursing care. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, contribute to quality improvement initiatives and help shape the ongoing delivery of aged care services. Whether you're an experienced aged care nurse or an acute care nurse looking to specialise, you'll be supported to grow your skills in an environment that values collaboration, continuous learning and excellence in patient care.

A little about us.
Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra Shoalhaven's major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
Wollongong is located an hour's drive south of Sydney on a narrow coastal strip bordered by the Royal National Park to the north, Lake Illawarra to the south, the Tasman Sea to the east and the Illawarra Escarpment to the west.
