n About the organisationnnn The organisation operates within the legal sector, providing comprehensive legal services across various jurisdictions and cultures.nnnnn About the rolennn As a Senior Accountant, you will support all areas of finance, ensuring accurate financial processes and reporting during a maternity leave cover.nnnnn Key responsibilitiesnn

Prepare and review journal entries, perform ledger and account analysis, and conduct variance analysis
n
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with the firm's reconciliation framework
n
Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes as required
n
Assist in the preparation of financial and management reporting, liaising with the World Firm Finance team
n
Ensure finance processes comply with internal controls and authorisation requirements
n
Support tax compliance requirements through coordination with stakeholders and external advisors
n
Assist with external audits and resolve queries in a timely manner
n




Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
n
nnnn Skills & experiencenn
n
CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent professional accounting qualification)
n
Proven experience in a Senior Accountant role, including responsibility for financial reporting
n
Exposure to tax compliance, including GST, Payroll Tax, and Income Tax obligations
n
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis capabilities
n
Experience using Oracle Financials or a similar ERP system is preferred
n
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage competing priorities.
