The Opportunity
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, this Brisbane-based role is responsible for driving profitable growth across key Queensland Independent Supermarket Groups and Multi Site Operators (MSOs).
Working closely with the National Independents team, you will execute customer strategies, build strong commercial partnerships and maximise distribution, ranging and promotional opportunities across the independent retail channel.
This is the perfect opportunity for a high-performing Territory Manager looking to progress into account management and leadership while accelerating their career growth!
Key responsibilities include:
Manage and grow relationships with key Queensland Independent customers
Execute national account and brand strategies at a state level
Drive sales, distribution and promotional performance
Identify and secure new business opportunities
Negotiate trading terms and customer agreements
Partner with Territory Managers to deliver exceptional in-store execution
Support,



coach and provide leadership across the Queensland sales team
Act as the delegate for the State Sales Manager when required
About You
You are a commercially minded sales professional with a passion for building customer relationships and driving results.
To succeed in this role, you'll ideally bring:
FMCG sales or account management experience
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
Demonstrated success delivering sales and distribution growth
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
Experience working with grocery retailers or the independent channel will be highly regarded
A current driver's licence
