We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Estimator to support a leading Australian civil infrastructure contractor delivering projects across the renewables, water, wastewater and energy sectors.
Based in Sydney, the role involves preparing detailed first-principles electrical estimates for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects incorporating civil, structural and electrical construction. Responsibilities include tender reviews, material take-offs, subcontractor and supplier pricing, risk assessments, value engineering and developing competitive bids.
Key Requirements:
Electrical estimating experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil infrastructure contractor.
Solid first-principles estimating capability across integrated civil, structural and electrical projects.




Experience in water, wastewater, renewables, energy or related infrastructure sectors.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
Understanding of interfaces between electrical, civil, structural, mechanical and process works.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with Expert Estimation, CATS or similar software.
Strong commercial judgement, subcontractor procurement and tender risk assessment skills.
Ideal Candidate:
An experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong civil infrastructure background who understands multidisciplinary construction delivery and can contribute to complex, commercially competitive project tenders.
