Manning Valley Free Range Eggs is a well-established, large and expanding poultry free range business seeking a Farm Manager to join our farming operations in the Hunter Region of Recent South Wales. As an integral part of the farming team, you will be responsible for poultry husbandry and production requirements, bird health and welfare, feed management and monitoring, daily shed servicing, maintaining workplace health and safety, overseeing and supervising staff, bird collection, grounds maintenance, on-call requirements, implementing and maintaining strict biosecurity protocols, record keeping and reporting, ensuring that the farm is always audit ready and compliant, and ensuring that all standards and legislation are adhered to.
Key responsibilities
Poultry husbandry and production requirements
Bird health and welfare
Feed management and monitoring
Daily shed servicing
Maintaining workplace health and safety
Oversee and supervise staff




Bird collection
Grounds maintenance
On-call requirements
Implementing and maintaining strict biosecurity protocols
About you
Current driver's license
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and responsibly
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload
Team building and effective communication skills
Hands on management approach
High standard of house keeping
Clear understanding of the commitments required with livestock
Agriculture or related tertiary qualification and poultry industry management highly regarded
Knowledge of Australian Eggs - Egg Standards of Australia desirable
