CDC NSW is looking for a reliable, hands-on and safety-focused
Yard Person
to join our team at the St Marys Charter Depot.
If you enjoy practical work, take pride in keeping things organised and can turn your hand to a variety of tasks, this is a great opportunity to play an important role in supporting our daily charter operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Refuelling buses and completing routine checks, including oil and coolant levels.
Supporting basic vehicle maintenance and reporting faults promptly.
Keeping the depot yard clean, safe and organised, including parking buses efficiently.
Washing bus exteriors and cleaning interiors when required.
Coordinating with subcontractors attending the depot.




Providing driver relief when required to support charter services.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is dependable, proactive and comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment. You'll need strong communication and interpersonal skills, good organisational abilities and sound computer skills.
Essential requirements:
Current Heavy Vehicle Licence.
Current Driver Authority (DA).
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
What's on Offer?
Full-time, Monday to Friday employment.
Consistent afternoon shift: 12:00 pm – 20:30 pm.
Weekend work opportunities may also be available.
The opportunity to work as part of a supportive, team-focused depot.
