Join our mobile optical team serving the Toowoomba and surrounding areas. We bring eye care services directly to Child Care Centres, Kindergartens, and Primary Schools. This role involves conducting comprehensive and brief eye exams for typically 3-year-olds, sometimes under 3, with an emphasis on early detection and preventive care to give kids a excellent start in life.
Key responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive and brief eye exams for children typically 3 years old, sometimes under 3
Emphasise early detection and preventive care
Travel to Child Care Centres, Kindergartens, and Primary Schools
Work with an assigned assistant
Use custom software for reporting (training provided)
About you
Qualified AHPRA registered Optometrist with own provider number
Own professional indemnity insurance
Passion for working with children and a fun, friendly approach
Car and driver's license required




Ability to carry mobile kit (provided)
Flexible working days during school times, school holidays off
Available Tuesday - Thursday only, usually 8.30am-*****pm, sometimes later
Willing to travel; extra kms paid
