Desian Education is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Aintree for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher. This is a full-time, long-term position offering the opportunity to become an integral part of the school community and make a lasting impact on pupils' learning and development.
The successful candidate will join a committed team of staff and will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning within Key Stage 2. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career within a supportive school environment.
The Role
Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across KS2
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Monitor pupil progress and provide appropriate support and challenge
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community
Take full teaching responsibilities,



including planning, marking, and assessment
The Ideal Candidate
Has a Full Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)
Experience teaching within KS2
Solid knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching practices
Excellent classroom management skills
Passionate about raising attainment and supporting children's development
Reliable, professional, and able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
M1-M6: £120 - £232 per day, depending on experience and pay scale
