The Role
Sonic HealthPlus is seeking a full‐time
Medical Officer
to join our team at ANZAC House.
In this role, you will conduct pre‐employment occupational suitability assessments for Australian Defence Force (ADF) candidates as part of the Defence Force Recruiting (DFR) program.
You will work alongside a highly experienced multidisciplinary team of Doctors, Nurses, and Screening staff who are committed to delivering high‐quality healthcare assessments. A comprehensive onboarding and training program will ensure you feel confident and supported in your role from day one.
About You
Essential Requirements
Australian Citizenship




Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent)
Current AHPRA registration (General Registration minimum)
Ability to obtain:
National Police Certificate
Current CPR Certificate
Working with Children Check
Ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance (Sonic HealthPlus will support this process)
Minimum 5 years post‐graduate experience
Previous Defence Force experience or military service (highly regarded)
