About Hammersmith

Hammersmith is a family-owned manufacturing business that supplies solid timber products to the staircase, building, and furniture industries. We operate a small storefront in Brompton, but distribute our products nationally through our e-commerce site & trade/wholesale network. Based in the Hindmarsh area of Adelaide, our family business has been manufacturing timber components for the building, staircase and furniture industries for a number of decades.

We have about 10 staff in our factory at the moment, but with workload increasing we are looking to add some junior staff to our mix that we can train to operate various timber processing machines.

About The Role





The successful applicant will be required to work Monday to Thursday 7am-3.45m and Fridays 7am-12pm. We don't work weekends and rarely do overtime.

Requirements:

We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented team players with:

- A strong desire to learn.

- Good physical fitness (some heavy lifting involved).

- Punctuality and consistent reliability.

- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

The types of machinery you would be required to run would be moulders, thicknessers, buzzers, glue press, cnc lathes and docking saws.
