Cluey Learning is one of Australia's largest online tutoring providers, built from the ground up since 2017 to back students, and the parents backing them, across English, Maths and Science. Cluey's sweet spot is Years 2 to 6, where regular, ongoing tutoring makes the biggest difference, though the team also brings in business for older students through high school. Thousands of students connect with Cluey tutors at any given time, through a platform built in-house by Cluey's own product and tech teams. The team works out of a buzzing, open-plan office on Clarence Street, Sydney, a two-minute walk from Wynyard Station, on a hybrid model that still gets everyone in the room together where it counts. The Role, Real Talk

Cluey Learning is looking for several full-time Learning Advisors based in Sydney, NSW. You'll own a pipeline of warm leads, every single one a parent or caregiver who has already put their hand up for help, and guide them through a consultative conversation that ends with the right tutoring plan for their child. You'll report to one of Cluey's team leaders, people who've come up through the ranks themselves and know exactly what good looks like on the phones.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Running warm, outbound conversations with parents and caregivers, never a cold call

- Digging into a child's needs, confidence and goals before recommending a path forward





- Building genuine rapport and trust through a consultative, no-pressure sales style

- Confidently asking for and closing the sale once the fit is right

- Spotting opportunities to add a second subject or enrol a sibling

Sound Like You?

A background in consultative, phone-based B2C sales, think insurance, memberships or similar, will put you in good stead for this role.

Additionally, the following will be highly valued:

- Comfort working to KPIs across call volume, talk time and conversion

- Prior experience in a fast-paced, target-driven phone sales setting

- Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM

You'll also need genuine empathy; these conversations can be emotional for parents admitting their child is struggling, paired with the self-assurance to ask for the sale once you've earned the right to. Cluey's strongest performers are financially driven, resilient through the ups and downs of the school calendar, and hungry to improve — people who'll get off a call and ask their team leader "what could I have done better there?" rather than clock off and move on.
