The Role
Reporting to the CFO, you’ll oversee financial operations across multiple venues and entities. You’ll lead the Finance Manager and wider finance team. This is a senior, hands-on role at the centre of financial strategy, compliance and performance for a group that is actively expanding.

- Reporting and Consolidation: Lead monthly and annual reporting under AASB, including consolidated P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow statements for the group.
- Cash and Treasury: Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital to fund operations and capital investment. Partner with the CFO on banking relationships and lender reporting.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinate the budget and forecasting process with venue and operational teams, aligned to group objectives.
- Performance Analysis: Analyse performance at entity and group level, and provide insight on metrics,



trends and risk to senior management and the Board.
- Tax and Compliance: Oversee group tax reporting with external advisers, ensuring compliance and tax efficiency within the requirements of the club industry.
- Controls and Risk: Build robust internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud. Embed an internal audit process to test control effectiveness.
- Systems and Process: Drive optimisation and implementation of finance systems, automating routine work and improving data integrity and scalability.
- People Leadership: Lead, coach and develop the finance team, fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Partnering: Act as a trusted finance partner to the CEO, CFO and senior leadership team.

About You

- Degree in Accounting or Finance; CA or CPA preferred.
- Significant senior finance experience with a strong focus on consolidation and multi-entity reporting.
- Deep technical knowledge of AASB and group reporting.
- Experience in hospitality, gaming or licensed clubs is highly regarded.
- Exposure to mergers, amalgamations or integrating new entities is a strong advantage.
- A track record of building and developing high-performing finance teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, confident at Board and executive level.
- Strong ERP and systems capability, with experience delivering process improvement.
- Commercially sharp, with robust attention to detail.
