Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based teaching in small class sizes
- Differentiate learning for a wide range of abilities and year levels
- Build strong relational classroom management with students who have complex or diverse needs

- Support young people's growth and potential through a trauma-informed approach
- Background in teaching Math is highly regarded
About you
- Current QLD Teacher Registration
- A genuine interest in working with young people who have complex or diverse needs
- Strong relational classroom management skills
- The ability to differentiate learning for a wide range of abilities and year levels
- A cooperative mindset and a willingness to grow
- A belief that behaviour communicates need — not defiance
- Experience in a Special Assistance School or alternative setting is advantageous but not essential
