Our brand-new service is opening in the heart of Redcliffe, and we are on the lookout for driven Certificate III or Diploma qualified Educators to join our brand-new team at Apollo Villages.

You’ll be actively involved in educating and caring for children under five years of age, building positive relationships with children and families, and working collaboratively with your fellow Educators.

About the Role

We are seeking Educators who have a strong passion for the Early Childhood industry and child safety, and who are looking to be part of a team where your voice is heard, input is encouraged, and commitment is rewarded.

Key Responsibilities

- Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community.
- Ensuring all health, safety and centre policies are adhered to along with licensing, legislation & regulations.
- Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.

What We’re Looking for

- Prior experience and confidence in leading a classroom setting and writing educational programs.
- Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.
- Experience in an early childhood setting.

Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Qualifications & Requirements

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, Diploma qualification in Children’s Services or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
- Current Blue Card
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Up-to-date with Child Protection training
- Completed Geckko Foundations training and Completed Geckko Advanced training
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for early childhood education
- A proactive attitude and commitment to professional growth

Working Hours

Please note that the service's current extended operating hours are 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. Educators will need to be available to work shifts across theses hours, depending on the operational needs of the centre
