Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Embroidery Operator to assist in the continual growth of our business. You will play a pivotal role in bringing our customers’ branding visions to life. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining our embroidery equipment to embellish garments with logos, designs, and artwork. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that each finished piece meets our high standards.

You'll be able to discuss best practice branding options with customers and provide proofs before proceeding with work.

The successful applicant will be required to work between 30 and 35 hours per week. The option for this role to be full-time with altered start and finish times may be negotiable for the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate embroidery machines according to design specifications.

- Load garments onto machinery, ensuring proper placement and alignment for accurate and visually appealing results.

- Prepare and adjust artwork, logos, and designs for embroidery application.

- Monitor the decoration processes to ensure consistent quality and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine equipment maintenance.





- Collaborate with the team and clients to ensure accurate design execution and client satisfaction.

- Able to read and understand work orders to determine type and location of decoration.

- Keep track of inventory, thread colours, and other supplies necessary for daily operations.

- Trimming, folding and re-packing garments once decorated.

- Adhere to production schedules and deadlines to ensure timely completion of orders.

Requirements:

- Must be reliable and genuinely motivated to work

- Have good computer skills

- Proficiency in graphic design software for artwork adjustments and colour management.

- Effective problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with team and customers.
