Position description

We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join our friendly team on a full-time basis. The role is based at our Mile End location and will involve assisting in handling of interior design of projects and generating proposals. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

· Manage commercial and educational fit-out projects from the initial client brief through to the final proposal and quotation, handling multiple priorities simultaneously.

· Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all client-supplied floor plans, project scopes, and specific workspace requirements prior to quoting.

· Utilise SketchUp or AutoCAD to generate accurate 2D renders, curating ergonomic furniture solutions tailored to specific workspace requirements.

· Build accurate project quotations and comprehensive proposals and internal templates,



managing all associated documentation.

· Liaise with suppliers for quoting and stock availability, expand the supplier network, and coordinate project logistics to minimise delays and freight costs.

· Create and centrally manage comprehensive project folders to systematically organise supplier quotes, product imagery, and site plans.

· Maintain product inventory data and provide ongoing administrative support to the Design and Sales Team.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following skills and attributes;

· Bachelor or higher qualification in a relevant field

· At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience

· Highly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a time critical environment

· Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, with ability to manage clients in a high-pressure workplace (at times)

· Good team player with the ability to support an effective working relationship at all levels

· Must have a high degree of data accuracy and attention to detail

· Current drivers licence

Salary

If successful, you will be paid a base salary of $85,000 per annum (excluding super).
