About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations and Customer Service professional to join our team in Brisbane on a full-time basis. This role is crucial to maintaining the high standard of service that our clients expect from AussieFreight International Logistics. You will be the vital link between our operations team and our valued clients, ensuring seamless coordination of freight movements, timely communication and resolution of customer enquiries. This position sits at the heart of our business and directly influences client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

- Processing and coordinating shipments through various stages including booking, documentation preparation and customs clearance procedures

- Managing incoming customer enquiries and providing accurate quotations for freight forwarding services including sea freight, air freight and import and export.

- Liaising with customers, shipping agents, customs brokers and transportation partners to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods

- Preparing and maintaining comprehensive shipping documentation purchase orders, invoices, bills of lading and customs clearance paperwork

- Tracking shipments and providing regular updates to customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays

- Resolving customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating complex issues where necessary

What we're looking for





- Proven experience in freight forwarding, customs brokerage or international logistics operations

- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation and international shipping regulations

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and build strong professional relationships

- Outstanding organisational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally

- Understanding of international import/export procedures, documentation and customs clearance requirements
