About the role

Rocktech is seeking a reliable and safety-focused MR/HR Truck Driver to join our team in Kalgoorlie.

This role involves transporting mining supplies, ground support equipment, cables, grout and other materials from Rocktech to regional mine sites throughout the Goldfields. You will also transport equipment and supplies between designated Rocktech storage facilities and mine-site locations, including underground work areas where required.

The successful applicant will play an important role in ensuring equipment and materials reach the right locations safely and on time.

Key responsibilities

- Operate an MR/HR rigid truck to transport mining supplies, equipment and materials to regional mine sites throughout the Goldfields.

- Deliver stock and equipment between Rocktech's Kalgoorlie premises, mine sites and designated Rocktech storage facilities.

- Transport supplies and equipment from surface storage areas to designated underground work areas where required.

- Load, unload and safely secure freight and equipment.





- Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.

- Complete delivery dockets, transport records and other required documentation.

- Follow road transport regulations, mine-site traffic management plans and workplace health and safety procedures.

- Communicate with Rocktech staff and mine-site personnel to coordinate deliveries.

- Maintain the cleanliness, safety and general condition of the vehicle.

- Assist with general yard and materials-handling duties when required.

- Respond to changing delivery schedules and short-notice operational requirements.

Roster and working hours

- Working hours may vary depending on operational requirements.

- Shifts of up to 12 hours may be required.

- Occasional last-minute call-outs and changes to delivery schedules may occur.

- Additional hours and overtime may be required to support our mining clients.

Location requirement

Applicants must currently reside in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Western Australia.

This is a locally based position and is not FIFO. The successful applicant must be able to attend the Rocktech yard and respond to delivery requirements at short notice when needed.
