ABOUT THE POSITION

Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager, you will take charge of day to day site operations across high end multi residential projects in Canberra. Roles span both structures and finishes, meaning there is an opportunity to suit your background and the type of work you do best. You will coordinate trades, keep subcontractors accountable, drive the programme and make sure every stage of the build is completed safely and to a high standard.

DUTIES

- Day to day site supervision and coordination
- Subcontractor and trade management
- Programme and methodology oversight
- Quality control and site inspections
- WHS compliance and site safety
- Toolbox talks and site inductions
- Defect identification and management
- Reporting to the Site Manager and Project Manager

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Must Have

- Experience as a Foreman on residential or multi residential construction projects




- Ability to manage trades and subcontractors confidently on site
- Strong understanding of WHS compliance and site safety
- Clear communicator across all levels of the project team

Preferred

- Experience across structures, finishes or both
- Trade background or tertiary qualification in a building related discipline
- Familiarity with construction software and site documentation
- Stable and consistent work history with previous employers
