·Maintain accurate risk registers, control documentation and remediation records.

·Conduct targeted risk reviews and provide practical, evidence-based recommendations.

·Support the ongoing development and improvement of risk frameworks, policies and processes.

·Build solid relationships across the business and help strengthen risk awareness through guidance and training.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with a practical, collaborative approach.

Ideally, you'll have:

·At least 3 years' experience in risk management, compliance or audit, preferably within private health insurance, financial services, insurance or an audit environment.

·A sound understanding of risk management frameworks, risk assessments, controls and assurance activities.

·Experience working with risk management systems, including maintaining risk registers, incidents and action plans.

·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.

·Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge and influence others.

·Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

·Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

·Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent practical experience.

It would be a bonus if you also have:

·Experience within private health insurance, dental or optical services.

·An understanding of AI-related business risks, including privacy, information security and responsible use.

·Experience in process mapping and identifying opportunities to improve controls and business processes.
