Through a combination of practical on-the-job training and nationally recognised training with a Registered Training Organisation (TAFE), you’ll develop the skills and knowledge to become a qualified Mechanical Fitter and build a rewarding career in mining. **The Chance:**As an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter, you’ll learn from experienced tradespeople while gaining practical experience across our Surface Operations, including Fixed Plant.* Complete structured, hands-on training under the guidance and supervision of qualified tradespeople.* Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and components across Surface Operations.* Support scheduled maintenance activities, projects and breakdown responses.* Assist with fault diagnosis and mechanical component change-outs.* Conduct routine inspections,
