Your current company An established qualified services firm is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its team.
With a solid focus on building genuine client relationships, the firm takes a holistic approach to understanding its clients' financial goals and delivering quality accounting and taxation services.Your new role As a Senior Accountant, you'll manage accounting and tax work across an allocated client portfolio, taking files through to final review while maintaining a high standard of technical quality.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing financial statements, tax returns and client files through to final stagesManaging workflow and proactively progressing jobs through the review processLiaising directly with clients on compliance queries, tax planning and ongoing adviceParticipating in client meetings as requiredReviewing completed work and identifying potential value-add opportunitiesIdentifying efficiencies across workpapers, documentation and compliance processesMaintaining strong technical knowledge of relevant taxation requirements.What you'll need to succeed CA or CPA qualified,



or working towards completionPublic practice accounting experienceStrong technical knowledge across taxation, compliance and advisoryExperience managing client relationships and deadlinesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive and client-focused approach with a desire to contribute to a positive team culture.What you'll get in return This is an opportunity to take ownership of client work while developing your technical and client-facing capability.
