About the role

Logan Village Dental (PE Dental Pty Ltd) is looking for enthusiastic, friendly and motivated Dental Assistants to join our growing team!

We have full-time and part-time positions available, and we warmly welcome applications from juniors, school leavers and individuals looking to begin an exciting career in the dental industry.

Whether you’re an experienced Dental Assistant or someone with no previous dental experience, we’d love to hear from you!

We are looking for individuals who have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to successful applicants with no experience.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our dentists, ensuring our clinical rooms run efficiently and helping create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient.

Key responsibilities

- Assist dentists and oral health therapists during a variety of dental procedures.
- Prepare and maintain dental treatment rooms before and after appointments.
- Follow strict infection control, sterilisation and hygiene protocols.
- Clean, sterilise and organise dental instruments and equipment.
- Ensure clinical rooms are well stocked, organised and ready for patient care.
- Provide a friendly, caring and reassuring environment for patients.
- Assist with general practice duties and support other team members as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold patient confidentiality.
- Work collaboratively with our dental and administrative teams to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Previous dental assisting experience is highly regarded but NOT essential!

We encourage juniors, recent school leavers and applicants with no previous dental experience to apply. We are more than happy to provide training to the right candidate.

A Certificate III in Dental Assisting is advantageous but not required.
