About the Position

The Physical Security Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of security systems, including video surveillance, alarms, and access control systems. This role requires a high level of installation expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver projects independently while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

In this role you will:

- Install, configure and maintain security systems (video surveillance, alarms, access control, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty security equipment
- Perform routine inspections and system testing
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Provide technical support and training to clients or end-users
- Maintain records of maintenance and service activities
- Deliver projects independently and interact with clients, suppliers and contractors

About You

You will have:

- Security Provider Licence (Class 2)
- Open Registered Cabler
- White Card (and Blue Card or willing to get one)
- EWPA up to 11m
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role within electronic/physical security systems installation and maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics.
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
