Sales & Warehouse role (Casual or Permanent part-time position)

About the Role

The right candidate will be a highly motivated & reliable individual looking for a role in warehousing & sales. This position will see you overseeing warehouse opperations, forklift opperations as well as backing up with the sales team in a sales role. Idealy you would have warehouse, forklift and sales experiance in a retail environment, preferably the home improvement, interior decorating or in the building products industry however this is not essential as full product training within this industry will be provided.

You will need to have a good understanding of computers and embrace technology. You will be an attention to detail person. You will be a team player and realise that it takes a team to provide exceptional customer service to achieve targets - and that is what sets us apart. You will be well presented and have a good knowledge of the local area to assist in understanding our local community and their needs.

The right candidate will flourish if they are pro-active and qualified. You will be a key part of the Amber team as we strive to deliver best in class service and expert advice. There is also the potential for this position to elvolve into a fulltime postion as the business expands.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Warehouse opperations / Forklift opperations
- Working one-on-one with retail and trade clients to help them bring the their design needs to life
- Follow up communications via email and phone




- Ensuring administration duties related to your sales & warehousing are completed in a timely and effective manner
- Availability to work 2-3 days per week

Skills and experience (whilst not all essential, these skills & experiance are highly regarded)

- Warehousing experience
- Solid understanding of workplace safety
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Clear communication (both written and verbal) and exceptional presentation skills
- Design & creativity
